Brooke Marie Makela was born at 5:50pm EDT on Sunday, October 3, at the Mid Michigan Medical Center in Midland, MI. She weighed 8 lbs. 11 oz. and was 21 in. long (exact same size as sister Reagan at birth). Mom and baby are doing well. Pictures to come soon!
Brooke will be baptized on Sunday, October 17th, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Midland. I am privileged to be the instrument through whom Jesus will welcome Brooke into His family. Our friends Andrew and Rachel Gray will be Brooke's baptismal sponsors.
