Blood count down again

At this afternoon's appointment, Matt's lab results showed that his hemoglobin is back down to 8.8. Since it was 11.5 on Saturday morning, he is definitely loosing blood. He is currently at the hospital and is receiving three units of blood. They are treating him as an outpatient, so I should get to pick him up later this evening. Right now the plan is for him to go back in for a check-up here in a few days. His doctor does currently have a call out to the doctor in Greeley since it is too early for his big file from there to have come in. There is a good chance we will be headed to Denver at some point this week for more extensive testing after the Imperial doctor talks to the Greeley doctor.
