For those of you who haven't heard yet, Matt was taken by helicopter to a hospital in Colorado last night. He went to the doctor yesterday afternoon with various abdominal concerns, and the doctor decided that he is blending somewhere in there. He has received more than one blood transfusion since then, and his dangerously low hemoglobin count is slowly rising!
Noelle, a good friend from church, and I drove to the hospital and arrived late last night. Reagan is still in Imperial with friends. We visited Matt and then came to stay at the hospitality house overnight. We are now planning on staying another night.
Matt's upper digestive scope procedure this morning showed no bleeding in the stomach or upper small intestine. He has now fully recovered from anesthesia, which was funny to watch I might add, was able to eat some simple foods this afternoon, and will begin drinking a special liquid to clear out his system at 6PM for his colonoscopy tomorrow morning. If the colonoscopy shows no bleeding, they will do Xrays to check the middle of the abdomen.
Best case scenario he will be home tomorrow evening. I won't be able to update this as often as I'd like since there is no wireless in the rooms, but I will try here and there.
Thanks for your prayers!

We heard about Matt last night, as there was a special prayer at the end of the placement service. Cathie and I are praying for you both and will ask all at New Life to pray with us.
God bless and give you peace
