Good News

Very likely I was NOT bleeding on Sunday. More than likely what I saw in my stool was underdigested watermelon. The increase in heart rate was probably due to the cold or allergies I am now fighting off. A couple of unrelated factors came together to make it appear that I was bleeding. The blood draw I had on Sunday in North Platte may have been a bad reading. Today I had my blood drawn in Imperial and my counts are up from my previous draw in Imperial eleven days ago. My hemoglobin is now at 11.5 (up from 11.2 on 5/15 and up from a supposed 10.5 on Sunday) and my hematocrit is now 35.9 (up from 33.9 on 5/15 and up from a supposed 34 on Sunday). Thanks be to God for the healing I continue to undergo! I will now be able to be a chaperone for our youth trip to Camp Comeca in Cozad, NE, today through Thursday.
